    Totally true. I’ve always found something wrong with these childhood stories. I mean, look at this lullaby:

    Rock-a-bye baby, in the treetop
    When the wind blows, the cradle will rock
    When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall
    And down will come baby, cradle and all.

    That’s horrible! Why are parents reading stories about babies dying to their OWN babies. Well, certainly not to others. I wonder how children don’t grow up traumatized and worried that they’re gonna fall off a cliff or something.

    Maybe that’s why a lot of kids are scared of heights nowadays…

    Here’s another one:

    A pocket full of posies
    Ashes, ashes
    We all fall down!

    More dying babies?! Gosh! When do they stop?
