In one of Mike Royko&#039;s chicago stories, he talks about the accordian and polka, and theorizes that its an instrument that can do it all by itself, and also the player can sort of polka with the instrument while he&#039;s playing. 

Since Brave combo is already mentioned, Im sure you know you&#039;re way around the alternative polka scene.
With you&#039;re Eastern European roots, I suggest you read Molvania, a faux travel guide.
