What's up with Bob the Builder using a hand-saw to cut everything? That's just crazy. We just got a 32" flat-screen because our old one was 50 pounds of bulky bad-sounding blurry picture (and we moved to another state and didn't want to drag it along). OK, I'm justifying the purchase. But it's a better viewing/sound experience and not too big. The other TV though--the one my parents gave me when me about 18 years ago, is still in use in the bedroom, funny white squiggles in the upper right-corner be damned. That one's sticking around 'til the bitter end. I also don't own a digital camera. Sorry, world.

2001? Pssh. I'm just now thinking of getting a new TV and I got mine...12 years ago.

(Sadly, the impulse to get a new one is not only driven by technology, but also by the fact that my 13 year old self thought it was a good idea to stick Winnie-the-Pooh stickers on the sides and I haven't been able to scrape them off successfully.)
